The idea arose some years ago. Our founder, Garry Milligan, had worked in the industry for over 25 years and was aware that in terms of design many customers were getting much less than they deserved. Anyone could call themselves a kitchen or bathroom designer whether or not they had a clue about the subject, making it very difficult for consumers to know where and when they were receiving sound advice. Clearly there was a need for a simple way of identifying a competent designer.
So the Federation of Kitchen and Bathroom Designers was born.
Our aim is to provide a professional base for designers, to offer help and advice and to provide education and resources to help designers stay abreast of developments.
We also offer help and information to consumers and help them to find a competent designer.
