We are the professional association for people working in the Kitchen Bedroom and Bathroom industry, particularly those of you who work within a sales or design environment.
Unfortunately there is no route to formal training and qualifications in KBB design.
This means that anyone can be employed as a designer or sales designer in kitchen, bedroom and bathroom retailing, without any knowledge of the industry or even a basic understanding of design principals. Our objective is to invite suitably experienced KBB sales/design people to become Members of the FKBD, thus displaying a professional mark of integrity and ability offering potential customers confidence and peace of mind. read more....
Anyone working in or around the KBB industry is very welcome to enroll with us as an associate, free of charge and without any commitment. FKBD Membership is reserved for those with proven KBB sales and design experience. Our website features two distinct areas.
The Public Area is visible to anyone online and is intended to offer consumers a range of KBB related information, with inspirational photographs of finished kitchen, bedroom and bathroom projects and also help and advice with design ideas and product choice. There is an exhibition section where manufacturers and suppliers can display pictures and information about their products or services, and we are building a directory section where consumers (and KBB people) can locate the products and services they seek. (this is not yet available but will be completed soon)
The Private Members Area of this website is only visible to registered KBB associates and Members when they log-in using their own unique user identity and password. In this area, once registered and confirmed, you can interact with other associates and Members through a social media style notice board and a private message system. Thoughts and information posted and exchanged here is only visible to people when they are logged-on. It is of course possible for Members to have pictures and comments published onto the Public Area for general viewing should they wish to display any of their own projects.
